It's autumn. Since the time change days are so short, that big part of them is the time, when it's simply dark. It can cause some trouble od difficulties. Such as making taking your photos difficult.
Na tym zdjęciu widać, co dzieje się, kiedy jedziesz rowerem z aparatem i próbujesz robić zdjęcie rowerzystce jadącej obok Ciebie, o zmierzchu. Tutaj ustawiłem w miarę wysokie ISO i starałem się jechać równo z tą dziewczyną. Niestety, było zbyt ciemno, a ja jednak jechałem zbyt szybko. Oto, co z tego wyszło. Nadmienię, że "obcięcie" głowy wynikało z tego, że zrobiłem zdjęcie bez patrzenia w wizjer.
This photo shows, what happens when you are riding a bike, holding your camera and trying to take a picture of a girl riding next to you, at the moment when it's getting dark. I set quite a high ISO speed and was trying to ride as fast as that girl. Well, it was too dark and I was riding too fast, as it occured. Here's the effect. I have to mention that "cutting" the biker's head is the effect of making the photo without looking in the viewfinder.
Zmierzch nadchodzi szybko, ale w mieście pomagają Ci na szczęście światła uliczne. I jednak lepiej jest robić zdjęcie jadąc ZA rowerzystką, z prędkością równą jej prędkości.
Dusk comes quickly, but in the city you are luckily supported by the streetlights. And it's better to take pictures, riding BEHIND the biker, with the velocity the same as his or her.
Najlepszą sytuacją do zrobienia zdjęcia, kiedy jest ciemno, wydaje się być, kiedy spotkasz rowerzystę, który akurat się zatrzymał. Dobrze jest mieć też jakiś sposób, by trzymać aparat nieruchomo. Tutaj użyłem słupa sygnalizacji świetlnej zamiast statywu :)
The best situation to take a photo, when it's dark, seems to be the one when you meet a biker that has stopped. It's good to have some way to hold the camera still. Taking this picture, I used the traffic light pole instead of a tripod :)
